You might be interested to hear that got the news this morning from the Allotments Team at Birmingham City Council that after a local campaign that has lasted 20 years, plots will be available for rent (‘first come, first served’) on the Victoria Jubilee Allotments next to Handsworth Park from noon on Saturday 12 June 2010.
