High Street Energy Advisor for Northfield Ecocentre

A part-time High Street Energy Advisor is sought to deliver a locally based energy saving advice service to residents to reduce fuel poverty and CO2 emissions. A keen interest is required in helping people to save energy and resources at home, so reducing their environmental impact. The High Street Energy Advisor will need a range of relevant skills and knowledge.

You will be joining a small team of part time workers, and will be working with a voluntary management committee for this Quaker initiative. The project is funded by the Working Neighbourhood Fund and will run until March 2011.

It will be necessary for you to undertake training for a City and Guilds qualification on Energy Efficiency and other courses we feel appropriate to this role.

This post is part-time for two days per week (16 hours) at times to be agreed including working most Saturdays. Salary will be £11 per hour.
