Noah’s Ark

30/11/2009

During Interfaith week, St Philips Cathedral chose to install Noah’s Ark in a variety of forms to mark interfaith week and their developing concern towards sustainability.

People coming to the Cathedral were asking to look around at the exhibition which included work from local schools who came daily for workshops.  There was also the chance to make your own ark with a message to Gordon Brown about the upcoming Copenhagen Conference.

The exhibition has now gone onto local schools in Birmingham.

Other activities held at the Cathedral that week included,

– the launch with invited guests, schools and faith leaders

– the sustainability forum and the opportunity to feed into the Multi Faith Declaration on Climate Change

– Bishop Urqhart speaks to the Christian Aid Mass Visual Trespass, click here
