Update: This year (2010) Recycle Week is taking place between 21 – 27 June and will focus on one material stream in particular – small waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

– composting all kitchen and garden waste

– recycling glass bottles and jars

– recycling waste electricals

– re-using carrier bags

– looking for the new recycling labels when you are shopping

and going waste free for a day!

    Great stuff! recycling is a key component of the global warming issue. We need to do more!

    I hope a similar initiative happens this year, I presume it will be default. If an issue such as this is in the pipeline it gets people thinking about it and therefore gets people doing it – people definetly need to do more, I hope this works.
